We’re not space invaders

Our church family is filled with warm and supportive people. We hope you find us really, really friendly – not really, really intrusive.

While we believe life is best experienced together, we also believe in healthy boundaries. You won’t be smothered by awkwardly-invasive exchanges or invitations. We also promise not to show up at your door unannounced or send you all kinds of stuff you never asked for.

That said, most people are looking for a home church that feels like home. When you feel ready to take the step from guest to friend, there are a number of ways you can begin developing richer, more meaningful friendships at ECC.

Come early, stay late

Sunday morning services are the best place to meet people of all ages and backgrounds. Drop by the Connection Center in the lobby before or after the Sunday service for coffee, treats and conversation.

Remember, it’s no easier for someone to walk up to you than it is for you to walk up to them.  Swallow hard, walk across the room and introduce yourself.

You’ll be glad you did.

Fill out a Connection Card

Every Sunday you’ll also find a Connection Card in your bulletin. You can use the card to introduce yourself, request prayer, give us feedback or ask questions.

Join the ECC-mail loop

We send out ECC-mail updates about 3 times a month.  ECC-mail allows you to receive breaking ECC news as it happens, receive key reminders as deadlines draw near and receive important details that we aren’t able to include in our Sunday bulletin or announcements.

Special Events

At ECC, there’s always something just around the corner…  Boundary Waters trips, snow football, family camp, potlucks, service projects, retreats & conferences, game nights…  The list goes on and on and on!
